100% Face to Face - learning, quiz and practical all done on the day.
Blended Delivery - online learning and short practical assessment

Public Courses held on the 1st Wednesday of every month in Ipswich
Overview: The LVR component provides electricians with skills and knowledge on how to conduct risk assessments of an electrically hazardous situation and perform low voltage rescue procedures without hazard to themselves and others.
Format: Online learning and short practical face to face assessment
Duration: CPR & LVR - Online learning (video and short multiple choice quiz) 1 -2 hours.
Practical assessment on the day 1 - 1.5 hours
CPR & LVR & First Aid - Online learning (video and short multiple choice quiz) 2 - 3 hours.
Practical assessment on the day 1.5 - 2 hours

Entry requirements: Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills including CPR on the ground for 2 mins and physical fitness to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills including manual handling in the rescue of a mock casualty.
Pre-course study: Students may be required to undertake online pre-course work prior to attending the face to face session depending on the course delivery mode.
Online study: Students must have access to a computer, or tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.
Blended delivery will include a further multiple choice quiz on day of practical assessment.
Online with face to face is with theory online & practical face to face assessment so is a little shorter/quicker.
Assessment requirements: Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved.
