Course: Provide First Aid INCLUDING CPR equips you with the skills and confidence to provide first aid treatment to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury.
Format: Online learning and short practical face to face assessment
Duration: Online learning (video and short multiple choice quiz) 2 -3 hours.
Practical assessment on the day 1.5 - 2 hours

Overview: This course will enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty until an ambulance arrives. Includes management of asthma and anaphylaxis.
Recommended for: Ideal for the general public, designated first aiders, health and safety managers and anyone who needs a first aid certificate for the workplace or their vocational qualification.
Entry requirements: Participants must have the physical capacity to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.
Pre-course study: Students may be required to undertake online pre-course work prior to attending the face to face session depending on the course delivery mode.
Online study: Students must have access to a computer, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies. The online learning component must be completed prior to the practical assessment.
Assessment requirements: Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved.
The following units will be included in your certificate:
HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
Certificate usually issued same day!
Renewal: Certificates will require renewal after 36 months. (Please note that HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is required every 12 months)
