Group Training for 6 or more people, onsite workplace training for up to 200 people can be catered for.
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Overview: This course provides the skills to recognise and then manage a casualty who is unconscious and is not breathing. CPR is a lifesaving technique which can sustain life until an ambulance arrives. You will cover the action plan – DRSABCD.
Recommended for: Ideal for the general public, designated first aiders, health and safety managers and anyone who needs a CPR certificate for the workplace or their vocational qualification.
Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the unit of competency achieved - HLTAI1D001
FIRST AID & CPR
Provide First Aid (Senior First Aid)
Overview: This course will enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty until an ambulance arrives. Includes management of asthma and anaphylaxis.
Recommended for: Ideal for the general public, designated first aiders, health and safety managers and anyone who needs a first aid certificate for the workplace or their vocational qualification.
Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved - HLTAID003 and HLTAID001
CHILDCARE FIRST AID
HLTAID004 - Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education & Care Setting
Overview: This course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. Includes management of asthma and anaphylaxis.
Recommended for: Parents, grandparents, family and anyone looking after children. Also required by all staff working within the childcare industry.
Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved - HLTAID004 and HLTAID001
Required every 3 years to stay certified. CPR & First Aid specific for child care centres or for people working in an educational setting. Course includes asthma and anaphylaxis training
UETTDRRF06B - Perform Rescue from a Live Panel and CPR
Overview: The LVR component provides electricians with skills and knowledge on how to conduct risk assessments of an electrically hazardous situation and perform low voltage rescue procedures without hazard to themselves and others.
Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved. HLTAID001 and UETTDRRF06B

Course Delivery: All courses are delivered face-to-face. There is no pre course work
Entry Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, an appropriate level of language literacy and numeracy skills is required.
Courses can also be arranged at your workplace or club (minimum numbers apply) - please contact us on 0438 779 177 to organise.
All courses are nationally recognised.
A refund will be provided where a student provides a minimum of seven (7) days notification. Where less than seven (7) days notification is provided, no refund is applicable. In this case, the student is eligible to transfer their enrolment to an alternative First Aid course delivered by Ipswich CPR & First Aid training. The course being transferred to must be within three (3) months of the original course date.
