HLTAID001 HLTAID003 & HLTAID004 - PROVIDE AN EMERGENCY FIRST AID RESPONSE IN AN EDUCATION & CARE SETTING
Delivery Format: Online Training with Face to Face Assessment - 30-45 minutes (minimum) face to face assessment with the addition of 3-4 hours of self-paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course.
Overview: This course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. Includes management of asthma and anaphylaxis.
Recommended for: Parents, grandparents, family and anyone looking after children. Also required by all staff working within the childcare industry.
Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved - HLTAID001, HLTAID003 and HLTAID004
Entry requirements: Participants must have the physical capacity to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor. Online learning component must be completed prior to practical assessment.
Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved - HLTAID001, HLTAID003 & HLTAID004.
Certificate issued same day!
Training delivered by F.A.S.T. First Aid Training Statement of Attainment is issued by Allens Training RTO #90909
Required every 3 years to stay certified. CPR & First Aid specific for child care centres or for people working in an educational setting. The course includes asthma and anaphylaxis training.
