Course: Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education & Care Setting course INCLUDING CPR will equip you with the skills to respond to a first aid emergency in an education and care setting.
Format: Online learning and short practical face to face assessment
Duration: Online learning (video and short multiple choice quiz) 30-45 minutes. Practical assessment on the day 45 minutes.

Overview: This course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. Includes management of asthma and anaphylaxis.
Recommended for: Parents, grandparents, family and anyone looking after children. Also required by all staff working within the childcare industry.
Entry requirements: Participants must have the physical capacity to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor. Online learning component must be completed prior to practical assessment.
Outcome: Outcome: Students will receive a statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved - HLTAID009, HLTAID011 and HLTAID012

Training delivered by F.A.S.T. First Aid Training Statement of Attainment is issued by Allens Training RTO #90909
Required every 3 years to stay certified. CPR & First Aid specific for child care centres or for people working in an educational setting. The course includes asthma and anaphylaxis training.
